On September 23 2009, Jim Freeman, Jessie Dowling, Emily Posner, Will Niels, Meg Gilmartin and Ryan Clarke were arrested while protesting the undemocratic approval of the Plum Creek development plan. The 6 have been dedicated to protecting the Moosehead region from industrial development.
Dinner will be followed by a short overview and discussion of ongoing efforts to protect Maine’s Northwoods from industrial exploitation, the upcoming trial and how you can get involved to protect Maine’s natural resources.
