Millinocket's Rockin' Reunion highlights 4th celebrations

MILLINOCKET - Millinocket's Rockin' Reunion, a celebration of the town's history in music and fashion, will run through July 4 with highlights that include Fairy House construction, children's entertainers Julie and Brownie Children's Parade, and humorist Gary Crocker, organizers said Thursday.

On Saturday morning, the Fourth of July parade starts at 10 a.m. It runs from Pangburn's Family IGA to Veteran's Park and will also feature the stars of "American Loggers," the Discovery Channel's reality-based TV show, and their taping crew.

Family entertainment with comedian Gary Crocker in Veteran's Park will follow the parade on Saturday afternoon, plus music, food and craft vendors. The "Hometown Band" will play at 6 p.m. behind Stearns High School of Millinocket and the Fourth of July Fireworks Show will start at dark at Stearns.
