Traffic Jam in Lincoln
«   1 / 1  »

A road crew hired by the Maine Department of Transportation caused a backup of traffic more than a hundred yards long on West Broadway near Hannaford Supermarket on Wednesday as it patched paving on the road. The work is a stopgap measure. DOT will repair, repave and install new drainage on the road, which is also known as Route 6, as part of a $1.3 million project in early 2010 if the state's highway bond package passes the November referendum.
