Prince Thomas Park in Lincoln is usually jammed with people on Fridays, but the rainy bleak weather scared off all but a small group of people playing volleyball. Jake Arthers, 19, of Belfast, dives for a ball that falls between him and relative Melissa Carlson, 48, of Oak Hills, California. The Carlsons and Arthers were visiting Vaughn and Sharon Johnson of Lincoln and resolved not to allow the bad weather to spoil their vacation.
